Woodfire Grill Wine Tasting Events

Woodfire Grill Atlanta
On Thursday, June 21 from 6-8pm Woodfire Grill will host a Burgundian Pinot Noir Tasting: The Original Gangster. In its native habitat, Pinot Noir definitely has the home field advantage. While the rest of the world seeks to harness the finesse and complexity of this grape, Burgundy keeps setting standard by which all other Pinot is judged.  From the rich depths of Grand Crus to lighter styled and quaffable Bourgogne Rouge, there is enjoyable pinot to be discovered at every price point. Burgundy, more than any other region of the world, balances tremendous physical grace with ethereal transcendence.

Woodfire Grill is located at: 1782 Cheshire Bridge Road, Atlanta, GA 30324. For additional information on the series of upcoming Wine Tastings offered at Woodfire Grill:

Upcoming Wine Events:

Thursday, July 19: Summer Whites of Loire

Summer Whites of the Loire: In the heat of summer, what better way to cool off than to enjoy a light, chilled glass of Vouvray on that swing on your front porch? The Loire Valley can offer so many ways to refresh from Muscadet on the Atlantic Ocean all the way to tropical and chalky Sancerre. The Loire River stretches 629 miles from the coast, reaching out toward Paris before turning south, irrigating a fertile valley that yields some of the most pleasurable and diverse white wines in the world.

Thursday, August 16: King of White Wines: Riesling

The King of white wines. Nope, not that one, the other one. What, no, not that one either, never mind. I’m talking about Riesling. Sheesh. There is no other white wine grape that can produce the vibrant acidity and fresh fruit flavors complimented by luxurious texture and complex minerality that Riesling does. We’ll taste through the spectrum starting with some dry Rieslings and making our way through some fruity wines and finishing with some sweet pucker. We’ll probably stick to Germany on this one.

Reservations are required. Reservations will be booked from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Guests can enjoy 8 wines over dinner at their table. Contact or call 404-347-9055 for reservations.
