Many of our novice wine followers have asked us, "Is there a simple way of using a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine?" We recently came across this informative video from Ernie Paquette, owner of Zola Restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee. To open a bottle of wine with a corkscrew, use a small blade to cut off the lead capsule, insert the auger into the middle of the cork and pull the cork out completely.
